Please NOTE: Tennessee real estate license students are required to take two courses for licensure:

1. 60 Hour Tennessee Real Estate Principles Course
2. 30 Hour Tennessee New Affiliate Course. 

Students must take the 60 Hour Principles Course before taking the Tennessee real estate state exam BUT the Tennessee Real Estate Commission will not issue a license to students until students have completed the 30 Hour New Affiliate Course.  So Cooke Real Estate School has a special package pricing for the two courses so students can easily fulfill the license requirements in total and save some money.

1. Take the on-line 60 Hour Pre-license required course first and pass the embedded end-of-course exam with 70% or more    
2. If the student fails the end-of-course exam, the student has to pay again and retake the course. 
3. The end-of-course exam is 100 questions and is a 3 hour exam.     
4. Upon successfully passing the end-of-course exam for the 60 Hour Tennessee Real Estate Principles Course, the school notifies PSI within 10 days. Students must contact PSI Customer Service to make an examination reservation.   Student may go to the PSI's website PSI EXAM CENTER and schedule an exam via the Internet 24 hours a day.  Complete the registration form and send it to PSI via the internet.  Students may also register by phone, mail, or by faxing it to PSI  (702) 932-2666.  PSI ask for four (4) days to process the students application.
5. The State Exam in divided into a national portion and a Tennessee portion. The examination fee for each exam is $55.  Retakes are also $55.  Students must obtain a score of  70% on each exam.    If the student fails one exam and passes the other, they only have to retake the exam  they failed.  If a student fails one or both of the exams, the student may retake it as soon as they want.  However, the student cannot schedule until the day after the student took the exam.
6. If the student passes both portions of the State Exam, the National portion and the Tennessee portion, the student will receive a successful notification of completion which is an official scored report will be printed out. 
7. The next step is to take the 30 Hour New Real Estate Affiliate Course.  The student call take both courses before taking the state exam.  Students do not need to wait until they pass the state exam to take the 30 Hour New Affiliate Course.  
8. Upon successfully completing: the 60 Hour Tennessee Real Estate Principles Course, passing both parts of the state exam (national portion and state portion) and the 30 Hour New Affiliate License Course, the student may mail their application and course certificates to:

9. Here is a link to the Tennessee Real Estate License Handbook put out by the test provider PSI.  It is excellent in its description and steps for licensure.  LICENSE HANDBOOK

1. These courses are composed of units/chapters. Each unit has four sections: Reading Assignment, Interactive Exercises, Reading Comprehensive Quiz and a Unit Exam.
2. Each unit/chapter has a Reading Assignment. The course is designed with learning objectives so as the student goes through the Reading Assignment, they know what the objectives are.
3. Every Reading Comprehension Quiz needs to be completed with a score of 100%, Each Unit Exam Quiz must be completed with a minimum score of 90%. This is the most important part of the course, because as the student works through these modules it demonstrates mastery of the course.
4. A student can move into the next unit without passing the previous one but, the student will not  be able to access the final exam until everything is completed and passed. 
5. Once all modules have been completed you will be able to access the final exam. 
   

1. Once the student purchases this course, the student CANNOT get a refund.
2. The student has ONE year to complete the two programs.  You can also access the courses, up to one year, even though you have successfully completed a course prior to your expiration date.  This is important because you will want to do extra studying to pass the State Exam. Cooke does allow a 90 day extension for $60.  (See Bookstore)
3. This On-Line 60 Hour Tennessee Real Estate Principles Course does INCLUDE two textbooks Modern Real Estate Practice by Fillmore W. Galaty, Wellington J. Allaway and Robert C. Kyle and Official Manual of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission with the Bronze package.  Both the Silver and Gold packages have excellent textbooks (not e-books) included in the packages to help students pass the course exam and state exam.
4. The only portion of the course that is timed is the end-of-course exam. The student has three hours to complete the exam. Students must complete the exam in one session. A grade of 70% or higher is required to pass the course.
5. If the student fails the On-Line end of course exam, the student must take the course again and pay the full tuition fee again.
6. These courses are totally web based. The courses are not downloadable. The student can work through the courses at the their convenience.
7. This courses are NOT designed to be printed for security purposes and copyright regulations.
8. At the time of registration for the On-Line Distance Learning Courses, the student will receive an e-mail from Dearborn's RE Campus, verifying their registration.  Students can call any time during Cooke Real Estate School's regular hours and may also e-mail the School. 
9. Every On-Line student must agree to the following affidavit: "I certify that I personally completed all assignments and have not duplicated any portion of the end-of-course examination." This certification affidavit is incorporated into the course under 'Instructions for the Final Exam'. The student must select 'yes' and click "enter" to take the final exam.
10. Before taking the on-line final end-of-course exams, it is important the following technical information be review by the student to eliminate as many technical issues that might arise.
11. Upon completing the course, RE Campus posts for Cooke Real Estate School a daily report of students' final grade. The staff at Cooke reviews this report daily, Monday through Thursday, and mails the completion certificates to those students who have successfully received a grade of 70% or better. Allow ten days to receive this completion certificate.   It is recommended that you e-mail Info@CookesSchool.com when you have successfully completed the program.
