After
you have enrolled, if you have questions
relating to the course material, a licensed
real estate instructor will be available
for questions Monday through Friday between
9:00 A.M. EST and 5:00 P.M. EST.
We
encourage students to e-mail the instructor
with questions regarding the On-Line course

With an e-mail to the instructor, the student
will have a written document of the response.
For
questions by e-mail, there is a 24 Hour
response time Monday through Friday, E-mails
over Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday

- Take this on-line 60
Hour Pre-license required course and pass
the embedded end-of-course exam with 70%
or more
- If the student fails
the end-of-course exam, the student has to pay again and retake the
course.
- The end-of-course exam
is 100 questions and is a 3 hour exam.
- Upon successfully passing
end-of-course exam, the school notifies PSI within 10 days. Students must contact PSI Customer
Service to make an examination reservation.
Student may go to the PSI's website
PSI
EXAM CENTER and schedule an exam via
the Internet 24 hours a day. Complete
the registration form and send it to PSI
via the internet. Students may also
register by phone, mail, or by faxing
it to PSI (702) 932-2666.
PSI ask for four (4) days to process the
students application.
- The State Exam in divided
into a national portion and a Tennessee
portion. The examination fee for each
exam is $55. Retakes are also $55.
Students must obtain a scorce of
70% on each exam. If the
student fails one exam and passes the
other, they only have to retake the exam
they failed. If a student fails
one or both of the exams, the student
may retake it as soon as they want.
However, the student cannot schedule until
the day after the student took the exam.
- If the student passes
both portions of the State Exam, the National
portion and the Tennessee portion, the
student will receive a successful notication
of completion which is an offical scored
report will be printed out.
- Besides the 60 hour Pre-license
course, students also need to
take the 30 hour - "Course
for New Affiliates", before the Tennessee
Real Estate Commission will issue the
student the license.
- Upon successfully completing
this on-line 60 hour course and the two
part state exam, the student may mail
their application and course certificate

- This course is composed
of 33 units/chapters. Each unit has four
sections: Reading Assignment, Interactive
Exercises, Reading Comprehensive Quiz
and a Unit Exam.
- Each unit/chapter has
a Reading Assignment. The course is designed
with learning objectives so as the student
goes through the Reading Assignment, they
know what the objectives are.
- Every Reading Comprehension
Quiz needs to be completed with a score
of 100%, Each Unit Exam Quiz must be completed
with a minimum score of 90%. This is the
most important part of the course, because
as the student works through these modules
it demonstrates mastery of the course.
- A student can move into
the next unit without passing the previous
one but, the student will not be able
to access the final exam until everything
is completed and passed.
- Once all modules have
been completed you will be able to access
the final exam.
- To prepare you
computer for the final exam, please read
"Tips on taking the Final exam"

- Once the student purchases
this course, the student CANNOT get a
refund.
- The student has ONE year
to complete the program. You can
also access the course, up to one year,
even though you have successfully completed
it prior to your expiration date.
This is important because you will want
to do extra studying to pass the State
Exam. Cooke does allow a 90 day extension
for $60. (See Bookstore)
- This On-Line course
does INCLUDE two textbooks Modern Real
Estate Practice by Fillmore W. Galaty,
Wellington J. Allaway and Robert C. Kyle
and Tennessee Real Estate Basics
by Ron Oslin. Plus, students can find
other wonderful additional study materials
at the Cooke
Bookstore.
- The only portion of
the course that is timed is the end-of-course
exam. The student has three hours to complete
the exam. Students must complete the exam
in one session. A grade of 70% or higher
is required to pass the course.
- If the student fails
the On-Line end of course exam, the student
must take the course again and pay the
full tuition fee again.
- This course is totally
web based. The course is not downloadable.
The student can work through the course
at the their convenience.
- This course is NOT designed
to be printed for security purposes and
copyright regulations.
- At the time of registration
for the On-Line Distance Learning Course,
the student will receive an e-mail from
Dearborn's RE Campus, verifying their
registration. Within 24 hours of
registering, the student will also receive
an e-mail from the instructor, so the
student will have an instructor contact
during the course.
- Every On-Line student
must agree to the following affidavit:
"I certify that I personally completed
all assignments and have not duplicated
any portion of the end-of-course examination."
This certification affidavit is incorporated
into the course under 'Instructions for
the Final Exam'. The student must select
'yes' and click "enter" to take
the final exam.
- Before taking the on-line
final end-of-course exam, it is important
the following technical
information be review by the student
to eliminate as many technical issues
that might arise.
- Upon
completing the course, RE Campus posts
for Cooke Real Estate School a daily report
of students' final grade. The staff at
Cooke reviews this report daily, Monday
through Thursday, and mails the completion
certificates to those students who have
successfully received a grade of 70% or
better. Allow ten days
to receive this completion certificate.
